Petrol,diesel prices reduced

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has announced a reduction in the prices of selected fuel types with effect from last night (29).

Accordingly, the price of Octane 92 petrol has been reduced by Rs. 20 per litre, bringing the new retail price to Rs. 414. The price of Lanka Auto Diesel (white diesel) has also been cut by Rs. 25 per litre, with the new price set at Rs. 382.

However, the prices of Octane 95 petrol, Super Diesel and Kerosene remain unchanged.

Following CPC's price revision, fuel retailers Ceylon IOC and Sinopec Lanka have also revised their prices to match the reductions. Both companies have reduced the price of Octane 92 petrol by Rs. 20 per litre and Auto Diesel by Rs. 25 per litre, in line with the CPC's new pricing.
