Student knocked down by train died

The schoolgirl, who was hospitalised after she was hit by a train at the Kollupitiya Railway station, died yesterday, police said.

She was a resident of Panadura. A student of a leading girls' school in Kollupitiya was hit by a Kalutara-Maradana train.

Investigations that led to her killing are continuing.
