Steady start helps SL first innings

Sri Lanka reached 58 for one, a short while ago, in response to Australia's first innings score of 316, on the second day of the third and final test at the SSC.
Australia were bowled out just before lunch, with Shaminda Eranga making the most of his debut, taking four for 65.
 
After taking Sri Lanka to lunch, openers Tharanga Paranavithana and Lahiru Thirimanna put on 56 for the first wicket, before Thirimanne was bowled by Peter Siddle for 28.
 
Paranavithana was joined by Kumar Sangakkara, who is playing his 100th career test match. (SMD)
