President Maithripala Sirisena had telephoned cricketer Kusal Janith Perera who is suspended by the International Cricket Council over dope charges, and had encouraged him to stay strong and face the future with courage.

In a tweet, the President said “I phoned Kusal J Perera this evening, and encouraged him to stay strong and face the future with courage,”
