President attends Thanthirimale Aloka Pooja

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake ceremonially inaugurates the Aloka Pooja by switching on the illumination at Thanthirimale Raja Maha Viharaya during the 2026 National Poson Festival yesterday. The Aloka Pooja is being held under the guidance of the Chief Incumbent of Thanthirimale Raja Maha Viharaya and Deputy Chief Sanghanayake of the Northern and Eastern Provinces, Most Venerable Thanthirimale Chandrarathana Nayaka Thera.
