Renuka: NTC Chairman

Former Western Provincial Councilor Renuka Perera, who was unable to secure a seat at the last WPC elections, had been appointed as the National Transport Commission Chairman, the Private Transport Services Ministry said today.

Mr. Perera is the Colombo District Chief Organiser for the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP).

He was appointed by the Minister of Private Transport Services C.B. Ratnayake under the directives of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. (LSP)
