A Sri Lankan who had allegedly sexually harassed an underage Dubai national at a star class hotel in Colombo was ordered to be remanded till November 1 by Colombo Fort Magistrate today.
Lodging a complaint with the Fort police, the father of the victim alleged that his sixteen-year-old son had been sexually abused by a Sri Lankan while he was in a massage tub of a hotel bathroom. The security officers attached to the hotel had taken the suspect into their custody and subsequently handed him over to the Fort police.
When the suspect, a resident of Bambalapitiya area was produced before Magistrate Thilina Gamage, he was ordered to be remanded till November 1.
