President condemns Paris attack

President Maithripala Sirisena in a message to French President Francois Hollande conveyed his condolences to the French government and people over the loss of life and injuries sustained due to the terrorist attack in Paris.

In his message the President said Sri Lanka as a nation that was badly hit by terrorism vehemently condemned such acts of terrorism.

The president also said it was important for all countries to get together to eliminate this scourge of terrorism.
