Parliament sessions came to an abrupt end today as there was no one present to second an adjournment motion moved by TNA MP A. Vinayagamoorthy.

Mr. Vinayagamoorthy moved the motion and completed his speech when it was noticed that there was no one to second it. None of the other MPs of his party were present at the chambers at this moment.

UPFA National List MP A. H. M. Azwer who was the presiding member at that time decided to adjourn the sessions. Therefore the sessions ended around 5pm today. (By Kelum Bandara and Yohan Perera)
