One arrested with three rare geckos

A person was arrested for allegedly transporting three geckos of a rare species in bottles in Embilipitiya town by the Embilipitiya police yesterday, police said.

Police revealed the suspect was a resident from the Embilipitiya area and he is to be produced before the Embilipitiya Magistrate today.
