One arrested over Anuradhapura killings

A suspect was arrested in connection with the gruesome killings in Halmillakulama this afternoon, police said.

Police spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said the suspect, who is said be a friend of one of the victims, was arrested by the Hasalaka police.

Five members of a family were hacked to death in their house at Halmillakulama in Anuradhapura last night
