Nominations tendered for CMB Municipal Council

The UPFA and the UNP have concluded tendering their nominations to the 23 local government bodies by 12 noon today, the General Secretaries of both parties Susil Premajayantha and Tissa Attanayake said.

The UPFA, UNP, JVP and all other party General Secretaries, party stalwarts and leaders of the independent groups have not converged at the Elections Secretariat in Rajagiriya to tender nominations for the all important Colombo Municipal Council. (Sandun A. Jayasekara)
