The Chief Opposition Whip John Amaratunga while rejecting media reports that he would join the Government said he had no intention of accepting the post of Speaker or any other Government post.

Mr. Amaratunga arrived in Sri Lanka early this morning after a visit to the Middle East with the President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
