Lovers in fatal jump at Diyaluma Falls

An 18-year-old girl and her boy friend had reportedly jumped off from the Diyaluma Waterfall in Koslanda this afternoon in a suicide attempt and the body of the girl was found a short while ago, police said.

They said the couple has made a call to a friend and had said that they were going to jump off the waterfall because their families were not supportive of their relationship.

The Koslanda Police are continuing to recover the body of the man.
