Hewavitharana MV Principal missing

The Hewavitharana Maha Vidyalaya Principal has gone missing since Wednesday morning, his brother said in a complaint to the police.

Police said they have launched a search operation but had received no clues to the whereabouts of the missing principal Chitrapala Nagasena.

The principal is reported to have metthe Vice Principal yesterday morning and had handed over the school keys saying he won’t be back on time for the opening ceremony of the Mahindodaya Technical Laboratory.

The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. (Muditha Dayananda)
