Video: Fire at Dawson Street

A fire that broke out at Dawson Street in Slave Island destroyed a row of houses in 47/5 Watta this evening, police said. The cause of the fire had not been ascertained yet but it is believd to have originated at a nearby tyre store.

The fire was brought under control by the Colombo fire brigade and no injuries were reported. (CP)
