Evening showers to decrease: Met Dep.

The Meteorology Department said today evening thundershowers over the country would decrease as Inter Tropical Convergence Zone has moved northward away from the country.

However, Showers could be expected in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern provinces and at several places in the North Western province, the Department said.

It said thundershowers could develop at several places in the Eastern and Uva provinces during the afternoon or evening.
