Dewasiri assaulted

A complaint had been lodged by Dr. Nirmal Ranjith Dewasiri claiming that he was attacked by a group of participants at a May Day rally organized by several left political parties in Kirulapone.

The police said they have rescued Dr. Dewasiri from being assaulted and that he had admitted himself to the Colombo National hospital.
