Dambulla SLFP Group condemns MS speech

The Dambulla SLFP Balamandalaya today passed a resolution condemning the speech made by President Maithripala Sirisena and demanded its immediate withdrawal.

The district committee meeting at Yapagama was held at the home of SLFP Vice President Janaka Bandara Tennakoon.

The proposal was put forward by the former Dambulla PS Chairman K.G. Somathilake.

Addressing the meeting Mr. Tennakoon said they would take all measures necessary to protect the party. (Kanchana Kumara Ariyadasa)
