Buddhadasa tops in Kaduwela

UPFA Candidate G.H.Buddhadasa who contested at the Local Government election for the Kaduwela Municipal Council has topped the list of preferential votes with 29,719 votes, while UPFA’s Buddhika Thusara, backed by Minister Wimal Weerawansa obtained the second place with 23,621 votes.

During the election campaign period supporters of candidate Buddhika Thusara clashed with the supporters of Buddhadasa in Kaduwela.
