Army Commander to visit Haiti

Army Commander Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya, will visit Haiti shortly to inspect operational duties of the Peacekeeping troops serving the UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH).

He met Lieutenant General Babacar Gaye, Military Adviser and the UN Assistant Secretary for Department of Peacekeeping Operations yesterday, at the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations in New York.
