An Indian, 3 Chinese nabbed for overstaying visa

An Indian and three Chinese were arrested yesterday on charges of having overstayed their visa and for having engaged in illegal trading, the Police said.

The 34-year-old Indian was living at Nakiyadeniya in Yakkalamulla. He was produced before the Baddegama Magistrate and he sentenced to jail till April 1.

The three Chinese aged 30, 50 and 49 were arrested while at the Kuliyapitiya Town.

The Kuliyapitiya Police said the Chinese would be produced before the Kuliyapitiya Magistrate today.
