Youth stabbed to death in Dehiwala

An 18-year old youth was stabbed to death at Kalderapara in Dehiwala early this morning.

Police said investigations are underway on a tip off received by the Dehiwala Police that a man was admitted to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of Dehiwala.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the youth was murdered as a result of a dispute.

Police said the suspects in the murder have been identified and investigations are underway to arrest them who have fled the area.
