Yoshitha’s great aunt permitted to travel abroad

Yoshitha Rajapaksa ‘s great aunt Ms. Daisy Forrest Wickramasinghe, who was on bail over the controversial land case in Mt. Lavinia, was allowed to travel abroad from March 3 to March 24 by Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Court today.

She was arrested and later released on a cash bail of Rs.25,000 and two sureties of Rs.1.5 million each last year.

The land which was owned by Ms. Wickramasinghe and valued at Rs. 34 million had been purchased by Mr. Rajapaksa for Rs. 24 million. (Yoshitha Perera)
