Woman, two children die in train accident

Arachchikattuwa, Feb 19 (Daily Mirror) - A woman and two children riding on a motorcycle were killed in an accident when a train travelling from Puttalam towards Chilaw collided with the motorcycle at a railway crossing in ​​Arachchikattuwa.

Police said the deceased woman is 36 years old and her 7-year old daughter and 9-year old boy died in the accident.

It has been revealed that they met with this accident while on thier way to attend a tuition class.

The bodies have been sent to the Mundalama Hospital and the Arachchikattuwa Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
