Wannila Aththo’s spouse, family members contract Covid-19

Veddah Chief Uruwarige Wannila Aththo's spouse and several other family members have been contracted Covid-19.

Wannila Aththo's wife has been admitted to the Covid treatment centre at the Mahiyangana Hospital.

Some 44 individuals have been tested positive to Covid-19 following Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) performed on 115 people in the Dambana area.
