May 4 (Daily Mirror) - The President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Tô Lâm, will undertake a State Visit to Sri Lanka from May 7 to 8, 2026.
Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the visit is being made at the invitation of Anura Kumara Dissanayake, following his State Visit to Vietnam in 2025 to mark the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
During the visit, President Tô Lâm and President Dissanayake are scheduled to hold bilateral discussions covering a range of areas of mutual interest.
The Vietnamese leader will also participate in several high-level engagements, including the inauguration of the “Sri Lanka–Vietnam Trade, Investment & Tourism Forum”.
