Two boys go missing off Valachchenai beach; one rescued

Two boys have gone missing while another one was rescued when they were suspected to have drowned while bathing in the Kiran beach in Valachchenai.

Police said the children were swept away by the waves and the rescued boy was admitted to the Valachchenai Hospital.

Police lifeguards and navy are searching for the missing children aged 15 and 16 and were from Kiran.
