Train derailment halts up-country line operations

Watawala, Feb 09 (Daily Mirror) -  Sri Lanka Railways has announced a disruption in railway operations along the Up-country Line due to a derailment near Ihala Watawala railway station.

The incident occurred this evening (Feb. 09) and has affected the slow train route from Nawalapitiya to Nanu Oya, derailing between Ihala Watawala and Rozella railway stations, as confirmed by the Railway Department.
