Traffic congestion in Battaramulla due to protest

Traffic congestion has been reported due to a protest march by university students in Battaramulla.

Nearly 500 university students are reportedly taking part in the protest carried out from Polduwa Junction in Battaramulla towards Parliament, police said.

The protest march is being staged demanding the abolishment of the Kotelawala Defense University Act.
