Tiran Alles claims he receives death threats

Colombo, July 07 (Daily Mirror) - Former Public Security Minister Tiran Alles has reportedly received death threats via phone calls from an underworld gang leader based in Dubai.

The threats were allegedly made during several calls on July 5. 

In response, Alles has filed a complaint with the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), who has instructed police to launch an investigation into the incident.
