Sri Lanka will uphold Buddhist values in supporting Myanmar, Thailand: Sajith

Colombo, April 1 (Daily Mirror)- Sri Lanka will always fulfill its duty towards earthquake-hit Myanmar and Thailand, preserving true Buddhist values, Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa said today.

Premadasa made these remarks after meeting the Thai and Myanmar mission heads in Colombo to express his condolences for the natural disaster that claimed nearly 2,000 lives.

Premadasa also assured his full support for the people of Thailand and Myanmar.
