Shooting incident in Galle leaves one dead

A person who was killed in a shooting incident in Dadalla, Galle today, the police said.

According to initial reports, the victim was riding a motorcycle when two gunmen, also on a motorcycle, opened fire at him before fleeing the scene.

The injured man was rushed to Karapitiya Hospital for treatment, where succumbed to his injuries.

Police are continuing further investigations
