Former SLTB Chairman Shashi Welgama, who was remanded on charges of a financial misappropriation amounting to Rs. 125 million at the SLTB, was released on bail by the Colombo High Court today.
He was released on a cash bail of Rs.200, 000 and two sureties of Rs. 5 million each.
Mr. Welgama was also banned from leaving the country. (T. Farook Thajudeen)
