Several anti-Govt. protests ongoing in Colombo

People have gathered in several areas in Colombo to protest against the Government for their poor management of economic policies, which has created mess in the country.

A protest is being staged in the Beruwala town demanding solutions to gas, fuel shortages and power cuts. Traffic has also been restricted to one lane as a result of the protest.

In addition, a protest is being held in the Ratmalana area as well. 

Meanwhile, a group of people aslo assembled opposite the Nelum Pokuna Theatre to show their agitation over the Government. 

Police and other security forces are on alert to report to areas in case of emergency and tense situation. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
