Schools in Mannar, Killinochchi districts closed until further notice

Due to the inclement weather, the government agents in charge of Mannar and Killinochchi districts have decided to close all government schools today (10) until further notice in the district for students.

Accordingly, the Mannar district was affected the most in the northern province due to sudden floods, and 13 schools in the Mannar educational zone yesterday and schools in Madu Education Zone today were closed.

Later, a discussion was held by Mannar district Government Agent, Ms. Stanley de Mel, with all zonal education directors in the province, and it was decided to close all schools from today.
