Schools close for first term holidays on Friday

The Education Ministry today announced that all government and government-assisted private schools will end their first term on Friday.

It said these schools would be re-opened for the second term on April 22.

Where Muslims schools are concerned the first term vacation will begin on April 11 and they will re-open on April 17. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
