Scheduled countrywide bus strike postponed to next week: Bus Associations

The Inter-Provincial Private Bus Association (IPPBA) and Lanka Private Bus Owners' Association (LPBOA) today decided to postpone the countrywide bus strike to next week after the discussion with Money & Capital Market and State Enterprise Reforms State Minister Ajith Nivad Cabraal this morning.

The countrywide bus strike was planned to begin from tonight.

The Associations said the Minister has promised to solve the issues related to leasing instalments by this Thursday. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
