Sapugaskanda may shut down if govt. unable to bring crude oil shipment: Union

If the government is unable to bring a crude oil shipment, there is a possibility of shutting down the Sapugaskanda refinery after June 23, the Petroleum General Employees Union President Ashoka Ranwala said.

He said the people would have to face serious issues if the refinery had to shut down again.

Also, he requested the people to prevent hoading fuel as fuel was issued in limited stocks. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
