Sajith, wife test positive for COVID-19

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and his wife Jalani Premadasa have tested positive for COVID-19.

Sajith Premadasa tweeted that his wife had tested positive with the virus yesterday.

He said following the health guidelines, he had undergone a PCR test and he himself tested positive with the virus.

Yesterday, my wife was admitted to hospital with symptoms of Covid-19. She subsequently tested positive having done a PCR.

Following Health Guidelines, I did a PCR as well and was informed a short while ago that I too, have tested positive.
