SLC announces Sri Lanka team for Zimbabwe ODIs

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced the Sri Lanka squad for the upcoming ODI series against Zimbabwe which will commence on January 16, 2022 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

SQUAD

01) Dasun Shanaka – Captain

02) Avishka Fernando – He will not play in the series, as he has tested Positive for Covid-19

03) Pathum Nissanka

04) Minod Bhanuka

05) Dhananjaya De Silva – Vice Captain – He will not play as he is on Paternity Leave

06) Charith Asalanka

07) Chamika Karunaratne

08) Maheesh Theekshana

09) Jeffrey Vandersay

10) Lahiru Kumara – He will not play as he has not fulfilled the ‘fitness standards’

11) Nuwan Thushara

12) Janith Liyanage – He will not play in the series, as he has tested Positive for Covid-19

13) Ramesh Mendis

14) Praveen Jayawickrama

15) Dushmantha Chameera

16) Chamika Gunasekera

17) Kalana Perera – He will not play as he has not fulfilled the ‘fitness standards’
