SJB MPs to sign no-faith motion on Speaker today

Colombo, December 13 (Daily Mirror) - Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MPs are to begin placing their signatures to the no-confidence motion that is to be brought in against Speaker Asoka Ranwala today.

Chief Opposition Whip Gayantha Karunathilleka told the Daily Mirror that Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa is expected to place his signature to the motion at 12 noon  today.

The main allegation against the Speaker is his deceiving the country by falsely claiming to possess a doctorate from a foreign university.
