SC extends stay order till March 20

The Supreme Court has further extended the interim order staying the implementation of the death sentence for convicted drug offenders until March 20, 2020.

The divisional bench comprising Justices Vijith K Malalgoda, Lalith Dehideniya, Murdu N.B. Fernando, S.Thurairaja and Gamini Amarasekera fixed the matter to support on March 17, 18 &19 for granting of leave to proceed. (S.S. Selvanayagam)
