Russian injured in parachute crash in Galaha

A 35-year old Russian who was in a parachute from Lulkadura in Galaha was injured when he hit the ground in Ralimangoda.

Police said the Russian national fell on ground after the parachute entangled with a 30-feet high tree while landing yesterday.

The foreigner injured in the accident was rushed to the Kandy Hospital and the Galaha Police are conducting further investigations. (Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
