Rupee weakens further against US Dollar

Colombo, Jan. 16 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lankan Rupee depreciated further against the US Dollar today (16), compared to Wednesday, official Central Bank data showed.

The buying rate of the US Dollar increased to Rs. 305.67 from Rs. 305.43, while the selling rate rose to Rs. 313.20 from Rs. 312.97.

Meanwhile, the Rupee recorded slight movements against a basket of other foreign currencies, including Gulf currencies.
