Relief package for bus owners who couldn’t pay lease installments: State Minister

A relief package will be introduced for bus owners in the future for all those who are unable to pay their lease instalments, Transport State Minister Dilum Amunugama said.

Addressing the media, he thanked the bus owners for not indulging in any protest against the recent increase in the fuel prices.

Meanwhile, the Minister said the validity period of all driving licence, emission tests, revenue licence and insurance certificates have been extended until December 31. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
