Police, NMRA raid luxury house distributing expired medicines

The Dehiwala Police and the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) yesterday raided a two-storey luxury house at Nedimala Rubber Estate Road in Dehiwala for distributing expired medicines.

They seized a stock of expired medicines which were re-labeled for distribution.

It was revealed that the warehouse had stored a large quantity of medicines and another large stock had already been sent to other locations.(H.M. Dharmapala)
