Petition against presidential poll gazette dismissed

The petition filed by former Galle Mayor Methsiri De Silva challenging the gazette notification on the presidential election was dismissed by the Supreme Court today.

Mr. Silva filed the petition yesterday seeking an order from the SC to invalidate the gazette.
