Parliament prorogued till February 7

Colombo, Jan. 26 (Daily Mirror)- President Ranil Wickremesinghe has prorogued Parliament till February 7, 2024.

The President issued the gazette notification stating that the Parliament was prorogued from midnight today under the powers vested in him in terms of the Constitution.

Parliament will meet on February 7, 2024.

The Daily Mirror reported on January 5 that Parliament will be prorogoued.
