Colombo, May 5 (Daily Mirror) - The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) is set to hold a stakeholder consultation tomorrow on the proposed Extraordinary Electricity Tariff Review for 2026, amid growing public concern over potential increases in electricity charges.
The consultation aims to obtain public views on the revised generation cost submission made by National System Operator (Pvt) Ltd for the second and third quarters of 2026, a process that could influence future tariff adjustments.
